Des Plaines First RLC Goes Live Next Monday, Meeting Thursday

The Daily Herald is reporting that suburban Des Plaines gets their first RLC on line this coming Monday.

In fact Thursday night, local drivers can learn more about their program at Des Plaines city hall (1420 Miner St.)from 7-9 PM.

Representatives from RedSpeed, the RLC company will be there. So will the always vigilant Ticket Doctor Barnet Fagel.

Lombard Turns Off Last RLC

On the other side of the coin, west suburban Lombard (the home of RedSpeed Illinois) is turning off their last remaining camera located at North Ave. and Route 53 according to Marni Pyke from the Daily Herald.

Lakemoor Speeds Toward RLC Enforcement

The village board of the Village of Lakemoor, in Lake County, according to the Daily Herald, heard a presentation from red light camera company SafeSpeed, LLC on August 26th.

The trustees will meet again on Thursday, September 9, to vote on whether to hire SafeSpeed to analyze and install RLCs on Route 12 and Route 120 in their town.

According to the article, Route 12 already has many red light cameras throughout Lake County including
Deer Park, Kildeer, Lake Zurich, Wauconda and Fox Lake.
