CBS 2’s premier producer Ed Marshall e-mailed earlier today with a heads up on a followup piece to the Sun-Times article this morning.
My guess veteran reporter Jay Levine will be at the helm of the story to dig deeper into why police ticketing is down 25% from 2009.

Street Sweeping Mini-Controversy In West Town
Some drivers in West Town are trying to get some street justice, or actually street cleaning justice.
According to CBS 2’s Jay Levine, a number of residents in that neighborhood are upset they got ticketed for street cleaning violations…when the street were not cleaned.

Chicago Street Sweeper Cameras Scrapped?
Chicago’s much heralded street sweeper camera program is now in the trash bin, according to a report on CBS 2 News by Jay Levine and Ed Marshall.
The program which was announced just under two years ago, never got out of beta testing apparently and/or there seems to be some conflict with Illinois state law.

CBS 2 Spotlights More Loading Zone Corruption
You gotta hand it to CBS 2’s Jay Levine and Ed Marshall.
They do some very solid television reporting.
Wednesday they were on the topic of loading zone abuse again.
Just over a week ago, the two were west of downtown spotlighting the problem there.

Loading Zones Don’t Mean Free Parking
Just because your business pays the annual $100 fee for a loading zone, doesn’t mean you can park all day there for free.
But, some drivers on the west side are avoiding paying the meters by taking advanage of loading zone privileges according to CBS 2 News.
