Just got a call from WGN Radio producer Jarrett Burton.

He asks if I want to come down to the WGN studios to chat with veteran Chicago newsman, Charlie Meyerson about red light cameras on the Noon Show. It seems Meyerson is filling in for Bob Sirrot on today’s Noon Show.

Are you kidding me?!? Duh! Of course! Yes! No, more like Hell Yeah!

To a news geek like me, sitting down to talk with a guy like Meyerson is like taking the captain of the cheerleading squad to the homecoming dance.

That didn’t mean to come out so creeping sounding, but you get the idea.

Tune in to WGN Radio 720 AM just after noon and hopefully the Geek won’t embarrass himself.
