And when in office:

I will find a legal reason to Fire CPM
I will find a legal reason to take back Our Cities leased out parking lots.
I will find a legal reason to take the Skyway back from the French that leased it.

I will Raise taxes and adjust the municipal code to reduce confusing Parking rules...so that enforcement doesn't seem Oppressive.

I will also Remove the Sancutary policy that is Illegally in place in Chicago and Invite I.C.E to come in and sweep out the trash that don't have green cards.....darn Canadians stealing our jobs.

I will Impress Term Limits so that no mayor will ever be able to turn a Public Service position into a Career (and for aldermen also).

I will keep the Federal Hiring Mediator and offer them an Office in the Cities Personnel Department HQ.

John...

Get enough signatures.....by the cutoff date...

And I will allow PTG to publish my real name so I can run for mayor.

I need PAC donations for the campaign though.

100 bucks from every Registered Vote should be enough.

"You know John…you are correct.

Ultimately…the fault for the chicken shit municipal codes that annoys the piss out of people because they didn’t know it was on the books lies with the Aldermen/women And the Mayor."

Well, I guess this IS what I'm pissed about. And thanks for your understanding.

I do feel frustrated and powerless over all of this stuff. I don't feel safe in my own city, and that is absolutely not right. I shouldn't have to walk in fear of a ticket everytime I park my car. I mean, I actually fear getting a ticket more than I fear getting mugged! Now that is backwards, and it is not right. And it's not my fault, it's the fault of the "powers that be".

And I want to do something about it besides wait around for the next election. That is toooo far away.

'The sense of Self Entitlement of people in this city that makes them think that parking on a Hydrant or in a Bus stop or tow zone or in a Bike Path to “Just Get dry cleaning/coffee/atm/whatever”
is enough to make me puke daily."

Hey man, you know, not everyone has this attitude, and, in fact, I think they are in the minority. NOBODY HERE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT HYDRANTS OR BUSTOPS OR HANDICAP ZONES, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

We are complaining about bogus tickets and bogus laws. I wish you'd quit bringing up the hydrant/bus stop/crosswalk/handicap argument.

And we don't all like being lumped together anymore than you like being lumped together with Chicago Cops, LAZ, or whoever else is writing tickets. So stop lumping all of "Chicago's stupid motorists" together and try listening to each complaint on its own merit, rather than having the "no mercy" attitude that you seem to have.

I don't park in handicap zones, bus stops, hydrant zones, from here to curb zones, crosswalks, etc. Yet I'm still pissed off with this meter deal. So maybe you can hear me out when I bring up LEGITIMATE PARKING PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF CONSTANTLY DEFLECTING MY COMPLAINTS BY BRINGING UP THE AFOREMENTTIONED SITUATIONS.

Hey Peter Parker, when your car door wouldn't open, did you get fined 50.00?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your sarcastic tone, but it seems you are saying that we shouldn't all be upset that the pay boxes don't work...did I understand correctly?

DoR, I'm with you on choking back the puke when you see someone park on a hydrant, etc. then run for coffee, etc.

In a perfect world, there'd be a giant mobile crusher that reduced these vehicles to a small cube on the spot.
