    Under an recently enacted Illinois statute, bikes and cars now have the same rights as users of the roadway, so a bike must yield to a car just like another car would have to do:

    Now that bike riding is declining, it’s time to restore balance among all Chicago road users. If CDOT won’t do it, turn the job over to a private contractor.
