In Chicago, City government sees Cubs success only as a means to shake down the neighborhood for more parking meter cash. The only people having to pay aren’t Cubs fans, since 2 hrs of parking is useless for going to a game that lasts 4 hrs. The people paying are those who just happen to be living, working, visiting or patronizing businesses in the neighborhood. Another revenue grab disguised as traffic management.
