IDOT: Overnight Closures On LSD This Weekend

Road Construction AheadThe Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced that starting
Friday, Sept. 23, overnight lane closures will take place over several days and ending Wednesday, September 28th.

This includes a full closure of northbound and southbound Lake Shore Drive (U.S. 41), as part of the ongoing reconstruction of the interchange between Lake Shore Drive and the
Stevenson Expressway (I-55).

IDOT says the closures are required for the installation of new bridge beams.
