It’s the parking ticket version of It’s A Wonderful Life!

Our poor protagonist, a driver parked on Halsted Street in Lincoln Park gets back to her car from Christmas shopping a tad too late before a naughty ticket writer slaps an expired meter parking ticket on the car’s windshield.

Kind employees of high end woman’s active wear retailer Lululemon generously come to the rescue and slip $50 into the parking ticket envelope along with a candy cane and a note that says, “Sorry you got a ticket, we got this covered. Happy Holidays.”

The Christmas Spirit prevails again.

Grab a mug of hot cocoa and read the entire heartwarming story coming to the Hallmark Channel soon from DNA Info, “Lululemon Surprises Customer By Covering $50 Parking Ticket.”

    Ho Ho Ho…

Don’t park stupid and you won’t get the ticket.

Meter Tickets suck…. Every other type of ticket the City Issues you wouldn’t have gotten if you were responsible.

019 you are full of poop. This blog along with numerous stories in the mainstream media has shown hundreds of examples of people being ticketed who were perfectly responsible. The city’s parking enforcement is a game of gotcha and you damn well know that.

Granted most parking tickets are legitimately issued, but lets not pretend Chicago doesn’t have a checkered past, present and future when it comes to fair enforcement. If it did, this blog would not even exist.
