A Romantic Comedy Film About Parking Tickets?
A long time ago, when we used to actually get out to see films in an actual theater, I would have probably seen a movie like Expired.
And not just because of the parking ticket related subject matter.
Expired, which came out in 2007, showed at Cannes and Sundance, looks like the type of indie self contemplative goofy hipster film that we would enjoy.
It seems to be about the lives of two parking enforcement officers and their romantic entanglements.
Hmmmm. Dark romantic comedy revolving around parking tickets?!?
Of course we’re intrigued!
But with Jason Patric, Terri Garr, Samantha Morton and Illeana Douglas all starring, it’s kind of a shock no one seems to have seen it.
Guess that’s what Netflix is for.
