WGN Radio 720 is what’s called a “heritage” radio station.

It was one of the very first commercial radio stations in America, with a long and storied past, and continues to be a powerhouse.

With 50,000 watts of power, listeners all over the Midwest and even further in some cases can pick it up.

When the radio industry first got started, radio stations only existed in large cities. But with lots of transmitter power, they were able to broadcast news, music and information to people hundreds of miles away.

Well, Saturday night, all those listeners across the country will get a chance to be annoyed by that moron, the Parking Ticket Geek when he joins the hip and hilarious Nick Digilio on his show at 7 PM.

We’ll be talking parking tickets, driving, gas prices and most likely Gov. Quinn’s impending decision whether to sign or veto the Chicago speed camera bill.
