  1. DoR Employee says:

Former/Current PEA indicted for taking a 20 dollar bribe while on Duty:

the meter maid who reportedly took a $20 bribe from a teenage motorist in the form of a personal check for scratching a parking ticket.

◆ The backstory: The meter maid, Jamila Judkins , 36, was about to write the ticket when the ticketee pleaded with her to forget it.

◆ The bribe: Judkins, who worked for the Chicago Department of (ka-ching) Revenue, allegedly said she’d make the ticket disappear for $20. Because the teen had no cash, he used a blank check from his parents to pay her.

◆ The kicker: When he returned home, the teen told his parents, who called the police, sparking an investigation that revealed Judkins deposited the check in her personal bank account the same day. Judkins was charged with felony bribery and was placed on a $5,000 bond Tuesday.

And yet the Deputy Director of Street Ops doesn’t like Capt M-Plate.

  2. DoR Employee says:

And it is automatically a Felony despite being 20 bucks…because she is in a Position of Authority its abuse of Power.

  3. Great job Geek, more air time next time…

  4. DoR Employee says:

    Yes.

Great job Mike….Mrs DoR and I listened for the whole thing.

She wanted me to call in…but since it is possible that Revenue Security monitors every live program you do and the callers that get air time…I declined to call.

  5. Pete says:

LOL @ the dumbass who throws away her entire career and any possible future career over a $20 easily-traceable bribe.

This being Chicago, bribes in general are certainly not frowned upon. You just can’t get easily caught doing it.
