NBC Target 5 On Parking Ticket Beat Tonight At 10

Lisa Parker leads a Target 5 investigation to aid a driver hit with an expensive parking ticket for a Chicago city sticker violation–even though he and his vehicle don’t reside in the city.

UPDATE: Just added video of Target 5 piece to the Geek Media page.

The piece airs at 10 PM tonight on NBC 5.

Sources at NBC tell us that annoying Parking Ticket Geek may make a cameo appearance in the story.

if it was late, its his fault. he should of post marked the envelope.
Typical lazy parking enforcement aide who should of ran the plate with secretary of state, unless he had an 2010-2011 expired sticker and no other sticker, they are allowed to write a ticket…

i’m sorry but this is not about parking. it is reguarding the fact that we , the people of 1400 to 1600 north washtenaw, chgo. 60622 have not had street lights for nearly two weeks. calls to 311 don’t work nor do reports to the aldermans’ office. it is rediculous. could someone down there with you please launch a full scale investigation into this matter and uncover the reason why nobody seems to be able to do anything about it or even cares about it? also could you please help us saturate every media form available to help bring awareness of the gross disreguard of the safety and comfort of the people of this neighborhood. a live news team followed by intense grilling of the mayor, the alderman, the heads of the department of streets and sanitation and all of the members of thier staffs would be nice. we lived the hot part of the summer here with no water because they could not turn off the fire hydrants for days at a time. a full, week long expose is in order.

    thank you very much,
