Crosswalk Enforcement Stings Set For Saturday
Watch out for “Pedestrians Gone Wild” on Saturday morning.
Because it’s probably not a pedestrian, but an undercover Chicago policeman.
Off duty Chicago police officers will be conducting crosswalk enforcement stings Saturday at three locations around the city.
Make sure when they step off the curb in front of your approaching vehicle, you come to a complete stop and let them cross to the other side before proceeding. Otherwise you’ll end in court and an expensive fine between $50 to $500.
Give pedestrians the brake. Drive safely Saturday. No, drive safely always.
Here are the locations for Saturday, June 4:
8 AM at 5050 N. Broadway (Uptown)
10 AM at 26th Street and Spaulding Avenue
Noon at 31st Street and Kildare Avenue

The next thing you know they will have “tollwalks” for pedestrians.
