Poll: 61% Think Red Light Cameras For Revenue, Not Safety
Wow.
What a shocker. A majority of the people in a recent Chicago Tribune poll, 61% to be exact, feel red light cameras are installed primarily to provide revenue for municipalities and not just to improve safety.
Local governments would do that?
I’m stunned at this revelation.

I watch the camera flash at Western and Montrose all night. Certainly safety isn’t the question at 3am.
