A reader named simply “A” sent us these photos of some beautifully painted parking meters located in Brighton Park.
“I saw these colorful meters right off of Archer Ave. and Albany,” said “A” by e-mail. “I guess we can expect to see more of these this summer.”
The first edition of Art or Vandalism, seemed to be the forefront of an explosion of parking meter vandalism in Rogers Park and Andersonville where 50-60 meters got vandalized.
Perhaps this is the harbringer for a new rash of meter vandalism.
