  1. Ticketmaster says:

    Hello PTG,

At the rate you are going, you will never be able to go to Administrative hearing without being reconized.

  2. The Parking Ticket Geek says:

Ticketmaster, I may have to switch over to contest by mail ONLY!

  3. Talibangelical says:

    Hi PTG,

Thanks for all of your good work!

Being a devoutly religious person and leader of a small (but growing!) cult, I was wondering if you had any thoughts on what the afterlife may hold for the folks behind all this meter nonsense?

    Blessings,
    The Talibangelical

  4. Carol says:

Parking meter fiasco is the new snow. Remember Michael Bilandic? Didn’t get the streets cleared, then the public revolted. Time for a parking meter revolt. Lets have huge public demonstrations when Olympic committee arrives in April.

  5. Lynn says:

Yes, please everybody come downtown on public transit and lets have major demonstrations in Daley plaza when Olympic committee is here

  6. LVResident says:

How many people from the IOC will have to pay at the meters for parking?

    None.

And so they’ll never have to know Chicago’s dirty little secret.

  7. Scott Tucker says:

I just bought a pair of shoes at Clark & Diversey.

I had to pay $16 in sales taxes, and another $1 to park on the street for 20 minutes.

    I’ve had enough of both.

We need to recall Mayor Daley, President Stroger, and all the Aldermen who voted to sell our meters.

Oh yeah, also the Cook County Commissioners who voted for Stroger’s sales tax increase.

We’re driving businesses, jobs, and residents from our city.

  8. Deluge says:

Next Thursday at Federal Plaza at 5pm Major protest against the olympics

  9. LVResident says:

    Deluge:
Please post more information, to make sure its official. I want the IOC to see that our government does not represent the people.
