Hey Procrastinators! Only Two Days Left For Ticket Amnesty!

Only two days left to take advantage of Chicago’s Ticket Amnesty.

The amnesty, which gives ticket scofflaws a 25% discount off any unpaid tickets (parking or red light) in Final Determination from Dec. 31, 2006 or earlier for payment in full, or initiating a payment plan, ends Saturday, February 14th.

Tickets from 2007 and 2008 will not be eligible for the discount.

You’d better get moving. The lines are only going to get longer and longer as the week progresses.

Here’s a list of City of Chicago, Dept. of Revenue Payment Centers, if you want to pay in person.

However, I recommend paying your tickets through the city’s online payment website. No long lines here.

Here are more details on the city’s ticket amnesty program.

Or if you’re interested, here’s a solid news report on the amnesty program from Medill Reports Chicago news service.
